    Hi all,


    KitMap 2 will be releasing this Saturday October 15 at 2PM EST. A timer will be added to our MOTD Friday evening to better notify you of the exact time the server will be un-whitelisted.

    This iteration of KitMap will be online to preface our Map 15 SOTW (October 22), adding in some features for beta testing as well as various bug fixes.

    Map Information
    Map Kit: Protection 2 / Sharpness 1 / Power 4
    Faction Limits: 5 members 0 allies

    Changes
    • Fisher kit added
    • Next generation of Archer kit implemented
      • Changed from Archer Mark to distance modifier
        • 1 half heart extra damage per every 5 blocks (past 15 blocks)
          • 15 | +0.5
          • 20 | +1.0
          • 25 | +1.5
          • ...
      • Added arrow effect modifiers based on armor color
        • Must be wearing a full set of the same color

        • Will be given a message if a set has an effect:

        • Effects:
          • Red dyed armor (Roses): Grants regeneration to allied members
          • Black dyed armor (Ink sack): Grants wither to enemies
          • Blue dyed armor (Lapis): Grants slowness to enemies
          • Green dyed armor (Cactus Green): Grants poison to enemies
          • Gray dyed armor (Gray dye): Grants weakness to enemies
        • Percentage chance to apply based on distance (only applies to debuffs, buffs are 100%):
          • 0-10 blocks: 10%
          • 11-25 blocks: 33%
          • 26-35 blocks: 66%
          • 36+ blocks: 75%
      • Archers can still use sugar for Speed IV (8 seconds)
      • Passive effects have not changed: Resistance II, Speed III, Regeneration I
    • Added /archer, /bard, /fisher, /miner information commands
    • Slighly reduced knockback
    • Removed knockback enchantment from swords
    • KOTHs now give crate keys instead of "KOTH Reward Chest"
    • Kill Keys now only have a 10% chance to drop
    • Reduced warzone to 300 blocks
    • Various spammy messages from Factions reduced (ie. "You cannot attack team members!")
    • Players can no longer drop items in safezones
    • Fixed Kill Keys dropping when dying from fall damage, or non-player related damage
    • Fixed players being able to use /pv in combat
    • Fixed enderpearls glitching and allowing phase
    • Fixed KOTHs being capped by players who have not respawned

    This is interesting. Will most of this apply to hcf? And would it be possible for you to add in the /ping or /ms do we can check it in-game instead of disconnecting from the server?

    @saint and yes this is the 'beta' for the archer stuff so we can nerf/buff it for hcf

    So you get a new kit map instead of putting up sotw, nice.
    and if you want players on kit map u need sotw

    So a regular archer set is now garbage unless you have dyes? That's kinda weird.

    The new kitmap is up to 'beta' test things that may be added to map 15. (if you read the post you might know that)

    rektbro like he said is there going to be a balance to it or what? like dyed archer sets need an 4 archer mark to get the same results as a regular archers 3 mark or something? How will regen arrows work? if its a flame bow will it set your teammates on fire, or deal knockback, or set a tick of damage, or spawn tag? would you be able to use it in spawn? will you add more support colors like white gives resistance or something?

    No, only the regeneration will be applied. The arrow will bounce off.

    If there is demand for it and the current balance is fine

    what he said is there a possibility of nerfing strength? its a 3 shot on fishers and its not very fun. HORRIBLE idea on hcf.
